Civonne Ray is a creative strategist and media professional, experienced in editorial writing, digital content and market growth initiatives. She's passionate about crafting creative, compelling and informative storytelling to maximize audience engagement and brand development across a various platforms.

 

As News Editor at REVOLT Media & TV, she writes and edits published articles and social copy, on newsworthy entertainment and culture. Civonne's previous career roles span from Digital Content Editor, Management Assistant, Music Designer and Social Media Strategist for Mood Media, Vashtie, ONE MusicFest, A3C Festival & Conference and WGIV 103.3 Radio. She has a Master of Science in Media Management from The New School NYC, expanding on her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications with a focus in Media Studies.  As a Center for Communications Ambassador she's recognized for excelling in the communications industry.  Furthermore, she's shared her knowledge as a panelist at several events.

She’s the founder of Boss Babe World, a woman empowHERment platform and playlist, in addition to writing and graphic design consultations for clients. As a Docent at the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts and Culture Center, she often leads tours and helps facilitate live community events. She believes philanthropy and social justice are vital for a successful society.
